Supervisor Address Translation and Protection
Today’s @risc_v Tip:
The satp (Supervisor Address Translation and Protection) CSR contains virtual memory translation information, including MODE. Valid modes for RV32 & RV64 include:
- RV32: Bare / Sv32
- RV64: Bare / Sv39 / Sv48
Bare indicates no translation or protection.
